  1. Worst EDSS was dichotomized as moderate to severe disability (EDSS ≥ 4) or mild (EDSS less than 4). Worst EDSS was the EDSS assessed at nadir (in monophasic patients), or at recur or at last follow-up (in recurrent patients). Variables included in the multivariable model (age, sex, onset-to-sample time, MRI lesion length, lnNLR) were selected from significant variables in the univariable analysis as well as adjusted variables. Nagelkerke pseudo R-squared value of the final multivariable model was 0.498
