Table 4 Multilinear regression (general linear model; GLM) analysis of the cohort 2 CFS – associated proteome. Proteins that were detected significantly more frequently in CFS than HC were shown in column 2. The significance (P), explained variance (R2), and probabilities for the association of each protein when stratified by CFS status, gender, and their cross-product were tabulated. The presence of at least 1 of the 5 CFS proteome proteins (right justified and bold italics) was sufficient to identify all the CFS subjects in Cohort 2 (B 1/5 ; see Results). (n.s., not significant).
