Table 3 Chronic fatigue syndrome – associated cerebrospinal fluid proteomes. The 5 proteins from cohort 2 that were most predictive of CFS (80% concordance) were defined by the "biosignature variable"B 1/5 (right justified and bold italics). The 2 cohorts were combined (n = 24 samples) and the frequencies of detection in all control (HC, n = 13) and CFS (n = 11) samples compared by ANOVA and Fisher's Exact Test.
